Discontentment.
For a friend 1983.
A Nurses job was never an easy task,
As well as the Ward work we did in the past,
Now there red tape and paper work by the mass,
And who cares about nurses, in the pay scale were are nearly last.
In nursing today there’s stress and there strain,
High Technology often acquires the blame,
To provide good patient care is always are aim,
But sometimes we are feel our work is in vain.
Our jobs made harder by policy change,
By senior nurses they come in a range,
Like actors learning their lines for a play,
Only to be told to start all over again.
Thro do not lose heart amid frustration,
These policy makers only got there by demonstration,
Of management ability and clinical skills,
They were once at the bottom, just a small cog in a large wheel.
