I wouldn't think there will be a problem with jealousy between the two as they are different sexes. It might be more your daughter does not want to feel a wee bit guilty if she shows affection to the boy, imagining her girl will feel left out...she won't.:( Cats are great at getting on with each other and if both are stroked and petted at the same time they will soon settle together..... and your daughter may well be the one to feel left out as the feline pair develop their own relationship:roll:
Feeding times with lots of good girl and good boy chirped should see them both happy at sharing meal times with both getting attention....Soon they will both let your daughter know what they need and want from her and both will be happy at letting her provide it for them.....as cats do.....we all know who the boss is and it ain't usually us human creatures!!!!!:Razz
