Was out and about late afternoon today (Sunday 24th August 2008). Makes a change from all the sea/coast views. Getting into crop fields just now. What a fabulous sky as well - Enjoy.

Some nice images there Deemac, Number three is excellent, great use of the track to lead you into the picture.

I love number 2 - makes me think of the dream sequences in Gladiator!

No3 for me also, love the black and white on this one and dark moody sky.

Not to go off thread of such a lovely posting of photos.
The dream sequence in Gladiator made me giggle a bit as you could see the wheel marks of the tractor.

Thanks for all the comments folks.

As usual I couldn't resist having another go at some of these.

I'm still not convinced that this tweak works, but it's roughly what I was after!!

This is the colour version of the previous B&W

And I quite liked the sky in this shot

Deemac,

I like the cornfield in colour, for me the colour contrasts make the image work better than the B & W.
The sky in the last image is excellent. The photograph with the sign and the "Sun Beams", I would be tempted to try B & W for this, not sure about the sun beams.

Yes, I think the "beams" need a tint (either yellow of blue) to "work" better!! I'll also try a B&W treatment. The first (farm buildings) black and white got the most response from my other photography forum postings.

Lower Sordale has to be my favourite, although it has those burnt out sections in the tree. I had the same problems as I shot this a couple weeks ago for the NHI :-), solution, shoot it in the morning :-)
