What bird

This bird was fairly small and it was yellow and kind of greeny brownish. I thought it was a willow warbler but I've listened to the song on the net and it was nothing like that.
The noise it made was extremely loud and sounded like those hand rattles that people have that you hold and spin round - exactly like that.
Sorry I can't be more specific - any ideas???

No worries, I've scouted the net and listened to some warblers and it's a wood warbler - what a weird sound, sounds like a rattle snake.
Freaked me out when I first heard it but I think it was warning off our cat who was sat close by - amazingly loud it was! (The bird that is)
