In my opinion table tennis, 4 grown men batting a tiny hollow plastic ball over a 'table' the size of a large postage stamp!

Tennis. BORING boring boring. Especially when there are tournaments every other week somewhere in the world.

Also, the Olympic Games should be for amateurs only. Those with professional status shouln't take part-i.e. Andy Murray-OUT EARLY. I'm sure any amatuer would have done better than him, and more deserving of the glory that comes with winning.

What shouldn't be an Olympic sport?

Anything that relies on opinion for its scoring system.

The Olympic motto is "Citius, Altius, Fortius." These three Latin words mean "Swifter, Higher, Stronger" not "Nicest, Prettiest, Cleverest".

Softball is a much larger ball than a baseball but both (contrary to the name) are very hard.
Don't like professionals in the Olympics, seems to take something away from the games.
What I don't understand is why some martial arts and not others. Seems it would be hard to say some are in and others out.

[evil]Boxing shouldn't be included. Its not a sport its legalised assault...if someone did that in everyday life then it would lead to a court appearance.

Ah but would that have objective or subjective scoring? Decibels, aroma, velocity? Would facial expression count? Cor could be a lot of tactical votin goin on there! Would the countries wi the richer food get on better?

I reckon a scoring system for Aroma and velocity is a great idea.

Perhaps the baked bean would become a banned substance for those particular competitors! Wonder if they can do a urine test for that! ;)

Which brands would they use? Heinz, Branston, HP? Personally I'd favour Tesco's own brand-after all, Every Little Helps. [lol]

Depends I suppose if they were judging velocity or aroma! Mind you tho would depend on their noses so perhaps a stink-ometer would have to be invented! :)

We could use people with big noses, that way they don't need to stand so close. We could have Barry Manilow, Barbara Streisand et al

What would an official name for it be?? Anal Aerobics or Anal Acoustics?

I would drop sailing, and all the horse events. If you are going to allow the sports where the competitors are being carried or driven (by the horse or by the wind) then you may as well have motor racing.

The only problem is the Asian countries are way better than us at it, so drop it and maybe replace it with Tossing the caber or Knotty, then Lybster could enter a team! ;)
