If the weather allows, tomorrow evening you could see a partial eclipse of the Moon. The eclipse will begin as the Moon climbs above the horizon at around 2030hrs. The portion of the moon passing into the Earths shadow will then increase to a maximum of just over 80% at around 2210hrs. The Moon will be placed low above the southern horizon at these times.

Fingers crossed for good weather :)

Glad you're getting a good view - no such luck in Thurso :~(

Managed a few fleeting glimpses through thick cloud, but I fear that's the best I'm getting for this eclipse.

really clear view, very red above moon, clear moon and very dark circle, incredible watching the colours change.
Beautiful night for star gazing too.

We had a great view from Armadale. Too cold to stay out in the field for long though!
