Wellard

Ok I know it's not real, but was anyone else moved to tears by the passing of Wellard in Eastenders tonight, me and hubbie both sat with tears streaming down (daft pair that we are!).

Thought it was very well acted by all, especially Wellard!

Thankfully I don't watch Eastenders or I know I would have been bawling!:(

'Wellard' and his(well actually it is her) trainer were on 'This Morning' so I did see some trailers and that was upsetting enough.
Her trainer was saying she managed to get her to close her eyes at the end by just telling her to go to sleep (she was so relaxed as she knew the actors so well) but she said when the scene finished she ran over and hugged her and was in tears.

I remember greeting when Batley was pts in Emmerdale.

I have not kept up to speed with Eastenders latley as I find it all a bit negative and deppressing, however I used to be a big Wellard fan.
As Lizz stated Wellard is a bitch named Kyte and was played by her mother Chancer and her gradmother Zenna in previous eppisodes
She also found fame in 102 Dalmations and Gladiator.

Couldnt watch it made my daughter turn it over.

Dogs dont close there eyes when they die which unfortunatly I'd forgotton about until Connie came home.:~(
