I was watching Globe Trekker (used to be called Lonely Planet) on the Travel Channel out here the other night, it featured Scotland, unfortunately Caithness was not covered, (but they did go to Orkney) however there was a wee interview with Alistair Gunn (Gerston) at a Highland Games in Aberdeenshire, and very well he came across as well.
The traveller was Megan McCormick, who is American, and it was very refreshing to see her enthusiasm for the country and being very optimistic for its future……it must be that I see things through more cynical and jaded eyes.
