Lookes like it is going to be a wet one for the Mey games.
I think its such a shame when a lot of preperation goes into an event and the weather spoils it.:(

Blame the Highland Council or your local Councillor, we havent bashed them on here for a while!! ;)
it is a shame when weather ruins an event, but sometimes I feel that rain can enhance an event, or maybe I've been in Caithness too long!

Even if we did not have the weather, something was amusing? it was still nice to see a turn out to support the Legion.
However with a few glasses of OP it soon didnt matter what the weather was like.

Prince Charles (Duke of Rothesay) unable to judge the Tug of War competition today as the "Legion" forgot to bring along a rope.

Could have played Tiddlewinks instead, (that one for another thread) but it was extremely wet. But it was good to see that all those who were left after the rush when the prince had left were invited in to his hospitality tent for a free drink.
