Male Skiers, and many outdoor workers have been wearing them for years, you can get them in all good sports stockists. Mine had zips in [lol]

I have a couple of mates who wear tights in the winter when they go fishing-according to them it's quite common in the fishing community. I think they are certainly a good idea for them to be used when flying however since I have the ability to teleport I won't be buying them.[lol]

Certainly the Squaddies and Marines wore them during the Falklands War. Very warm......

Would I wear them?

For warmth? - yes.

As a fashion statement? I'd like to think I'm not that sad.

my ex husband is a ex royal marine and he wore them in norway had to laugh mind when he asked me to get him some

After my first exercise with the army,I went straight down town and bought some. We had long johns and "rambo"vests but you couldnt beat them as an extra layer to keep you warm.
Felt a bit strange wearing them but we did strange things then! I think it was more embaressing buying Condoms for going on exercise!!! ;) (for constructive not pleasurable reasons!)
