You could try; http://wildbirdfood.uk.com/ (http://wildbirdfood.uk.com/) Postage included even for up here! - we ordered 40kgs of sunflower seed one day and it arrived the next (citylink) overnight..

This is who I use as well and they are excellent. The food is really good quality.
I used the mix which has sunflower hearts and peanut granules in it and there is a lot less waste with this.
Also get the Sunflower hearts and Peanuts.

Costs a small fortune but worth it. The flipping crows are a pest though!

Hi Mooncat

If you are in Wick you can try the little newspaper shop on Bridge Street - it is between Semi Chem and one of the charity shops. I know it has bird seed and I am pretty sure it also has peanuts and are at a reasonable price.

The other place is (I hate to say it) Tesco's. I know at the pets bit they do have a range of wild bird foods but not positive that peanuts were there but it may be worth a look.

Hi,, try Jim Bews (or whatever it is called now), the Newsagents in Thurso. They have a "scoop department" at the rear of the shop and bird feed is available there. It might be worth asking if they will sell it to you in larger quantities.

Try Geddes, I always got them from Geddes at Thurso.
