July August is always a good time to see the Dolphins at Chanonry Point, Fortrose on the Black Isle.
When i was there it was overcast and threatening rain not ideal for the fast speed that i would have liked.
Best time is to arrive for the start of the rising tide, this weekend that will be about 8am.
Dolphins usually come in with the tide and go out again when it starts falling.
Standing on the point the Dolphins will come within 20feet of you.
The large males are almost 14feet long.
