Penny is now ready to move onto her new home. She has a couple lined up that will hopefully work out, if not we will keep looking.

Penny does not feel comfortable with small people but does not appear bothered by my two dogs. She has taken to trying out their beds, much to their disgust, but she is not bothered. She just loves attention and will sit or lie down at your feet looking up to either get on your knee or scratched. Sadly Penny is not getting enough attention here and can only have the run of the house when my sprog is in bed. She has a wonderful wonky walk and has started to run now although she will still need to take it easy for a while. She has a habit of standing right behind you and I have tripped over her as many times, but not once has she growled or yelped. The best news is that she now wags her tail and bounces up and down in her crate when I come back in, or when it is food time.

No a TRUE jack russell has longer legs rather than shorter, the short stumpy ones have been crossbred years back to make them more *cute* pic below of my russell, registered and with a five generation pedigree with the jack russell terrier club of GB.

Unfortunately Penny has shown another side to her nature and it is not good. She cannot be re-homed as the safety of the people and their pets could be compromised.

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this as she is sleeping in her bed good as gold, but I fear her past has caught up with her.

I will close this thread now and I would like to thank everyone who showed an interest in Penny.
