Hiya,
Just moved up from endland shire in the summer, and we found a house we really want, lets say the asking price is £50,000, and we really really want it, how much would a normal caithness person offer if they really wanted it.

Or is this a bit of a taboo question, and no one should ever really know?

I would say that if you really like and want it then offer what you can afford to, if you know there are others interested then offer up to top end of your budget if only you looking then offer a wee bit over

We recently bought a house and went through a local mortgage adviser he kept us right on what to offer. There was a fair bit of interest in our house and we got it for 10 percent more than the asking price which we were told was about the norm.
