Looking for reasonable priced accommodation in Edinburgh. Anyone got any suggestions? Would prefer it to be near to the Infirmary but am open to suggestions.

P.S. Remember August is Festival time in Auld Reekie and prices usually go up at this time, and beds are a premium

We stay on Ferry Road when in Edinburgh and that seems to be on the bus route to everywhere.

"Garfield" is by far the best of the bunch with a super breakfast to keep you going all day.

"Brig O`Doon" next door is very similar.

Both friendly and reasonable rates. Just google in the names for more info.

This is by far the cheapest 5* hotel in Edinburgh....but you need to join the SYHA

we stayed at the great western. booked it through last minute.com got it for less than half the price that they usually charge:D
