Lovely, goldfinches are favourite smal bird but shy imn my garden

get the nyger seed out and they will appear (hopefully) my nyger has been out since the turn of the year but they have only been coming for the past 4 weeks

Wow, what a stunner the European goldfinch is. The American goldfinch is very pretty too but the two are quite different.
