I would reccomend the science musuem , it has great interactive learning for the kids with an emphasis on fun , you will also probably see Nina and the Neurons from CBeebies. Also the xscape centre at Breahead shopping centre .

I know there's been a murder recently in the Queens Park but honestly through the day the parks are safe and a place of refuge if it all get too busy.
That park has a lovely pond where you can watch all the birds.sometimes the small boats are being put through their paces.

Glasgow is a great place to visit, enjoy your time there.:D

Try Barshaw park in Paisley , 10 mins on a bus or 5 on a train from the city centre .

Great boating pond and trampolining , crazy golf and a mini train for the kids to ride on that goes round the small animal enclosure they have .

There's also Rouken Glen Park, near Thornliebank which has a boating pond and great nature walks.

Loudoun castle isnt that far away (Galston,Ayrshire), theres loads there for adults and children ,it is a real Family place,in fact Ayrshire on the whole is very Family orientated, and I came from there so it must be ace ;) And it can get you out of the city and escape for a while!

About 30-40 minutes out of Glasgow there is Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park. they run a bus from the bus station in Glasgow but not sure what day it runs. www.blairdrummond.com (http://www.blairdrummond.com)

Kelvingrove is good.

Theres also Xscape out by Barrhead shopping centre.

Have fun!
