View Full Version : A difficult Week

The weather and a very busy hotel made "A photo a day" difficult this last week.
But there are a few from the week I am very pleased with, Ironically yet again they come from the days with the worst weather!

Just adore no 4 - moody pics are my favourite and that one is special! Thanks as usual for sharing!

Love the first one, evokes great distance and space, the one with the harbour wall also has great perspective.

The 4th one is quite an amazing shot (Port of Brimms). Care to share what equipment you used for this one?

I like No.4, but would suggest cloning out the light object on the cliff face. It tends to draw the eye for me. Might also make a nice BW image.

Keep up the good work :-))

Thank you all for your comments, much appreciated and helps with the motivation.

Deemac, I must be odd, but I actually like the white plastic, I feel it adds to the feeling of desolation and decay. In the winter, when I have more time I will try a version with it removed, the other option is to just tone it done a bit? Will also try a b&w version, but I'm not convinced there's enough interest in the sky?

Bruce H, Click on the link below the photograph, go done to the section headed Additional Information and click on "More Properties".
I use Nikon DSLR's, from entry level to Pro level, the majority of the images here were taken with a Nikon D60.

Oh no Deemac, although I love b/w pics, no 4 is the "colour and light" of Caithness!

I love the original Northlight but its more effective for me in black and white.
