common blue butterfly

spotted my first common blue for this year today on a trip up wick river nd took a few shots

the orange edge spots look like little hearts lol

Small blues are around at Dunbeath strath-too fast for me to get photos though!

best time to catch them is when they are a little less active such as first thing in the morning or when they have just emerged as was the case with this one :lol:
