Blood donor sessions

Anyone know how I go about transferring from the England & Wales blood donor system to the Scottish one? Can I just turn up with my donor card number to the session in Thurso on Tuesday, or do I need to book an appointment?

When I moved back up I just went along to the session and was able to give blood and change my details.

I think you may have to have a blood transfusion before you become a donor in Scotland. This is so that any blood you donate in future is of good quality Scottish stock, about 70% proof I think. :D:D
