Last year I spent a long time driving down my lane because of lapwing chicks. This year it was going up the lane and some really beautiful curlew chicks. they were so lovely all long legs. Mum and Dad were overhead making such a din. They finally made it safetly into an empty field and I was late for an appointment but who cares
