Looking at images

I have just read ecb's thread about a flat screen with black marks. So I enlarged it for a better view, however, I cannot keep it in view as windows keeps centreing (is that a word) the screen. I know I can copy the picture and enlarge it but why? I am sure I have never had this problem before.
I tried saving the page but exactly the same thing happened. Is it a windows thing or site specific?

I believe it's as a result of the recent upgrade to the vBulletin forum software.

EDIT: If you go to ECBs post and right click the image, you can Save Target As... to save it to say the Desktop, you can then open it in your preferred package to look at it closer.
