Street name

Does anyone know a street or place called Back or bank Bridge street ?

I can find anything like it in the maps

Back Bridge Street is a very small street in wick off Bridge Street

I was surprised to find on my most recent visit to Wick that what I always called Back Bridge St is also known as Wares Lane. It is engraved on some slab or something on the ground (and also shows up as that on Google maps).

No wonder I had trouble finding it lol All i know is that my family member lived there in 1854

The club on that street is still called the 'Backer' bar.

BACK BRIDGE ST
this was quite a busy street in times gone bye with houses andshops etc

as already said the club there is called by this name regards tony

Wares lane only goes as far as the opening to bridge st.after that it is back bridge st.so what you and i called back bridge st.is actualy two streets,got this off an 1897 map of wick....
