I wouldn't take that report too seriously, Peter. Unusually for the 'Hootsmon' the piece seems to be aiming for a xenophobic knee-jerk reaction.

There is a feeling of "too many Jock ........." (insert your own expletive) in the Government down here in Hampshire where I live. I've heard it so many times at work. I always respond by reminding them Scotland was ruled by the English for 300 years and now you complain when the boot is on the other foot-tough titty.

It's the way of the world now.

The BBC can have radio stations for "black music", imagine opening a "white" one.

There is an association of Muslim police officers, and one for catholic police officers. How about one for protestants?

As for the politician talking about too many "scots", whether his view is right or wrong I'd rather have it that people can talk freely about these things rather than instantly being branded racist.
