remembering childhood

what things remind you of when you were a child mines would be cut grass as a kid in the summer holidays aaaahhh the memories are floodin back lol:)

when the bignold park got cut we used to make huts with all the grass cuttings...

I would have to say a summer sun. When the sun is out I can quite easily slip into the past,(and stay there for hours), and recall various moments from different times growing up. :D

I lived near a mill which made cut grass into something or other, so there were small hills of it in the yard, and we used to make tunnels through it. So cut grass always reminds me of that.

And the smell of peat blocks always reminds me of my holidays in Halkirk, and the peat stack behind my grandad's shed.
