Vital details...

THE MAYDAYS
Henrys Cellar Bar,
Morrison St.,
Edinburgh

Friday 6th June

8ish - Couple of Quid entry

Its our first gig with our new singer, Mr Jamie Stu, and I thought I'd try and beg some of you (those in the area, of course!) to maybe come along and lend us your support...its no easy task pullin' a crowd when ur not playin' the Blackstairs Lounge!! So any support you can provide us with...we will return with much appreciation, and perhaps a song!

If you can make it...great. If you can't...I want damn good excuses!!!!

Darren

With an invitation like that how could anyone refuse? I've written it on the calendar.

For the other Edinburgh folk, I can say that the band is quite okay; very modern of course, but I survived!

It surely wasna that big a challenge was it Canuck!?!

If you were to attend, that'd probably make you our most consistant punter!

This venue is really cool tho, much more intimate than Cab Vol, theres barely a stage!

Sorry guys, I couldn't stay for the whole evening so didn't get to see you on stage.

First time I have been served wine in a plastic beaker though. And the company at my table was very pleasant. I hope that it went well.

Cheers for comin' along Canuck even though you missed it, it went well enough...we only managed to have about 3 practices with the new singer but he did a fine job.

Aye that sounds like Henrys...not much class about it!!

The band have plans to record a EP in TPot Studios, Dundee next month which I'll update you with on here...maybe see about havin' a wee party to launch that later in the year.
