Genealogy Assistance Request for OAG Family Tree

My name is John Oag and live in Perth, Western Australia. My family originated from Scotland arriving in Fremantle, Australia on the ship Belgic in 1913.

My Grandfather was Alexander Sutherland OAG who came accross with his brothers, sisters and parents Alexander OAG & Agnes Joan Haywood Mackenzie.

I believe Alexanders parents were James oAG & Margaret Swanson.

Hi John,

I believe that we have been in contact before some years ago.

Back then I had a major failure of my PC back then after a lightning strike next to my house not only taking out my desktop but also my backup storage. It took me months to get back my data with many gaps including my contacts list.

Well now to your query. Yes, Alexander Oag (mill worker) who married Agnes McKenzie on 26 Jul 1898 at 1 Leamington Terrace, Edinburgh after banns according to the Congregational Church was the son of James Oag and Margaret Swanson.
