hi there i am trying to trce my father in laws kin iam looking for a sister of a john miller who married a elizabeth falconer and he was a shoemaker in halkirk his sister was a janet miller and she was born in 1827 iam also looking for the family of john and elizabeth robert b 31/12/1864 helen b 21.9.1862 elizabeth jane b 7.6.1868 john b 31.07.1871 any help would be much appricated :lol:

Next door was James Miller aged 80 retired farmer with a son James aged 40 and also a sister Margaret Miller aged 88. Could they be related!

yes thats them going by the dates and johns father was called james and was a widow by this time. i will check the later census to see if there still there later on.

hi there iam trying to find anybody who is related to a lizzie miller who married a archibald sinclair in 1904 in olrig she was my father in laws great aunt also there brothers robert born 29//071991 george b1891 james b 1992 and maggie b1897 i know they were alive in 1901 because they are on the census records in anybody knows of them please let me know:lol:
