Hope its ok to put this on here. It was just that when I phoned the adverse weather line, I was assured the school was open as normal. However MFR are saying it IS closed due to the high Winds.

I heard that the high school in wick is closed also thurso high,wick south school,pultney academy, north school, reay,watten,keiss, i think most of them have been closed.

Looks like most of them are. Also heard Bower, Halkirk and Castletown primaries. Best listen to Moray Firth Radio as They are just about to put the list out.
Also no citylink bus to Inverness this morning.

yeah there is no buses running and all dounreay traffic are getting stopped at bt entrance and sent back.
