Ivory gull

At approx. 4pm on 18 May my husband and I spotted an Ivory gull sitting beside the car park at the Castletown end of Dunnet beach. We watched it for quite a while until it joined some other gulls on the beach. I managed to get a couple of photos. We are not bird watchers but thought you would like to know.

such a shame you didn't post the pictures so that we could have seen it to. ivory gulls are from around the arctic and are quite a rare sighting even this far north :D
