I love Butterkist..does anyone know how to make the sweet sticky coating ??????

Pop the corn as normal in a heavy pan with lid or popcorn maker , then melt some butter, golden syrup and sugar in a pan about a tsp of each for every cup of popcorn. Add this mixture to the popcorn and coat well. Then bake in a preheated oven for approx 5 / 10 mins.
You can substitute golden syrup with toffee flavour ice cream sauce. Go with a more expensive one with less ingredients for a richer coating .

the recipe asks for corn syrup the best alternative is golden syrup , otherwise a sugar syrup made with 1 cup of sugar and 1/3rd of a cup of water cooked slowly should be fine .
