Is the cannon still there in Wick by the river and the railway line? I seem to remember it was a popular place for secret lunchtime "snecking" sessions as well as the occasional pre-arrange fight.

aye think it is still there, well it was last year, when we were at the county show, took the kids to see it, spent many a happy lunch time there.

Yeh its still in place ,quite often surrounded by empty beer cans and broken glass but most of that walk is like that nowadays
