Road works

Just been out to Homebase in Wick this morning and noticed that from Dunnets Garage right out past the homebase turnoff the road and pavement looks like its been done over with graffitti. i hope all the bright colours means that the surveyers have been marking the road with all the utilities and are about to sort out the road at last. i just hope they do a better job of it than the last lot a couple of years ago.

I thought it might be something to do with utilities for the flats that were going where the building has just been knocked down.

hope they are sorting the road fingers crossed its a disgrace the way it is the now.....:(

They seem to be doing a lot of roads in Caithness just now, but just the edges which are sinking along the side.

The reason the markings are on the road is not yet because they are sorting the road. They are actually installing a new storm drain.
