always thought the a jury consisted of 12....seems not...would a reduce in jury numbers mean less time in delivering a verdict? have you sat on a jury?
just wondering..must be quite an experiance...

I have served on a jury a few years ago and I think the Scots Law system is as good as we can get, I am not a lawyer, but I would think the more members of a jury that there are means a fairer result at any trial.

Jury service has so far eluded me, sadly.
It's a public duty I'd be pleased...delighted to perform...but as yet..nothing.
My wife has been called twice!
