This has been coming for years. The fact is that most industry and public services nowadays are run by Beancounters, which means bad management with only 2 things in mind, targets and finance. This generally develops into bad relations between staff and bosses due to a lack of concern for the workers themselves. Tie this in with most directors of services being politically appointed and things can only get worse!
