on Sunday the 4th of May, starting about 11am
New drivers welcome. Hope to see a

Is it like the one that was at Dounreay a good few years ago?

It's not drag racing like afew years back.
it's two cars at a time around mixed surface track that is just short of a mile
long. We use mostly road tyres and the cars vary from subarus to citreon ax's. it is more a fun event so different classes does not matter.
But we do time each run you do.

Who do you contact about joining the club ? Need to know regs for building a car.

Hi
There is only a few rules
If the car is mot you can run it the way it is.
But if not you need some sort of roll bar,seat belt (standard will do)
a fire extinguisher, and personal stuff, a helmet & fire proof boiler suit
there is more but this will get you started

When you say mixed surface, what different surfaces are involved?
I ask as my car is low and has very solid suspension so wont be able to use my car if its not flat ground.

The surfaces are mainly rough tar and concrete.
I ran a road legal subaru legacy at the last event and drove it home
afterwards.
