good shots southview, saw a seal pup almost in wick town centre just below the first diagonal wall after the bridge feb/march time. The only reason i spotted it was because i was trying to get shots of a grey wagtail at the time lol :lol:

It's a Grey seal molting it's white coat.
Although it looks quite fat it looks far from Healthy.
Something not quite right about it's face.
Also Scratch to head indicates it's received some rougth treatment possibly from another seal.
May have been prudent to have informed the local Marine Mammal Medics (BDMLR) to give it a health check.

Yeah colin I wasn't to sure about it being so close to the town and informed the police as to its whereabouts, so i assume they would have known who to contact :)
