It seems that there is rather a lot of housing/flats available to rent in the area - is this due to a downturn at Dounreay and lack of contractors in the area??

I would say it is due more to people with cash to spare investing it in bricks and mortar thus making more homes available on the rental market.....

I'm hoping prices tumble throughout Scotland to be honest...and down here too.

A big correction is required to settle down an overheated area of our lives and give young people...and older ones a realistic chance of realising their more modest ambitions...like owning their own roof.

I've heard a few rumours, like "oil coming into Scrabster" and a lot of folk are thinking that "something" must be happening due to the stores that have arrived in Caithness. Houses are being built wherever you go , even here in our little hamlet there are "tests" going ahead to see if (alledgedly) 3 houses can be built on a small plot of land..........
Big A have YOU got the answers? come on, - spill e beans man...;)
