fulmar photo session

took a walk down towards the trinkie and thought i would try and get some shots of fulmars in flight, had a great time and got some great shots, but on getting back to base and throwing them up on the computer found that all the shots were from the rear of the bird lol (not the best angle) i shall have to try when the wind is in the other direction and see if i can get some head on shots.

I know the feeling, I was up at duncansby today, and only got about 3 decent photos out of 260ish. [lol]

Good try though!

I had to keep moving round the cliffs as a change in the wind meant that they would ended up backside facing you!

Its always difficult to find the right spot with the wind swirling as it does i just wish i had noticed the ones landing virtually on my feet i could have got some phenominal shots if i had:lol:
