Ok, this may sound like I'm a bit of a saddo but I'll take the chance.

I'm a woman in my early 40s, most of whose mates are attached so don't really want to go out on a regular basis.

Do other single women have this same problem? Would anyone be interested in getting together for nights out?

I still want to know, is this a quiet pub evening discussing hyacinths and the latest romantic novel? or a full on girly night out that almost has to be announced to the authorities in advance and all the local men run screaming for cover? or maybe somewhere in between with a bit of dancing round the handbag? ;)

Looks like there's a bit of interest.

Can I just say, I really don't like hyacinths nor romantic novels.......

Well in Wick the best place to meet is probably Spoons, how about a coffee during the day to get things kicked off?

The only day I can make is a Sunday cos I'm working the rest of the time but that is a good idea.

No reason why we can't meet for a coffee in the evening though is there?

Nothing stopping us having a coffee one evening during the week.

If anyone would like to meet up in the next couple of weeks PM me with suitable nights and I'll organise something.
