Unless I'm very much mistaken,( and I was once before, long time ago;)) thats a rhea. Interestingly. I have seen one on 3 occasions just off the A9 near Loth, which appears to just wander about freely. Cant get anyone to believe me though!!

Look like the Rhea from the Teacosy Caffe East May opp the entrance gate to Scotland Haven.
They have quite a collection of birds in averies, well worth a visit.

Love the manic expression on that bird's face!
Quite agree seabird they do have an interesting collection ard are ready to chat in depth when they have the time, as you said, well worth a visit.
