OLD FOLKS HOMES
was first going to add this to the minibus thread.
does anyone know if the homes in wick have any form of transport to give
the old folks a run out??? have two sisters in different homes in rossshire and
both places have a facility to give the ones that are fit a run out at times it
means so much to these folks to get a wee break.
am only curious. i know i used to take a chum out for years but couldnt take the responsibility of carrying willy nilly??
trying to avoid needing it myself but surely it could be looked into.

forss house at Latheron has one but not the others. I used to drive the social work mini bus years ago and got the use of it to take elderly people who never had visitors, out for a sunday run and tea at the Portland arms at Lybster.Also took patients from the queen elizabeth wing as well. Have two photoes but don't know how to put them on here!!
