Hi Darren

Don't know if it is still the case, but the Council used to empty your tank for you once every 5 years (I think) for free. Maybe things have changed, but it may be worth a call to find out. Do you know when yours was last emptied?
Good luck.

Try this link. I used them last time and they were very prompt and tidy. You have to work out whether it is less expensive to have a regular empty or an emergency one. If your tank is working properly you may get away with an empty every 3-4 years. If its working really properly with no detergents and stuff added you may get even longer. All depends on how many are using it and the capacity of course. I'm afraid the days of a free empty by the council every three years are long gone, so its a matter of finding the best solution for your circumstances. I was cheaper getting an emergency de-sludge!!
Good luck!
