help

just downloaded the new i tunes from scratch when i go to convert my tunes from a cd it says that the file name is too long and that the cd is copy write protected, happens wei all my cd's this never used to happen before?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :@

While it may not help in this case, it's always worth keeping a copy of your last downloaded version of all software. I have lost count of the number of times I've 'upgraded' to a new version only to find it buggy, or that the writers, in their infinite wisdom, have changed how things work to a point where I really don't like the new version.

Once you have determined that a new version is fine then you can discard the previous version you've saved.

Had too many problems with iTunes so I switched to Mediamonkey.

Much more user friendly IMHO, http://www.mediamonkey.com/
