Just to let you know that there is also a publication by Cowper and Ross
called Monumental Inscriptions of Sutherland pre 1855. Though I
sadly do not have the time to reply to everyone's requests I can do brief
look ups. I also have the 4 volumes of the Caithness Monumental
Inscriptions pre 1855. Another great source is the www.county-sutherland.co.uk (http://www.county-sutherland.co.uk) website which at a cost of six pounds gains you access
to the lists of the burial sites in Sutherland plus photographs of the
various graves. Log onto www.grave-images.co.uk (http://www.grave-images.co.uk) to view the Old/New
