VHS/DVD info..

Hi was not sure where to put this one, but what i am looking for is some info or some help.I have a video tape that i would like to have copied onto a dvd..I do not have a video recorder only a dvd.player.Does anyone know someone or can help as it is a video about my oh own hometown and i have yet to see it as we have no vhs recorder...I am not sure if there is anywhere in wick that may be able to help....Any help with this would be very much appreciated...

If u do put your video tape on disk dont throw the tape away because not all disks reads on all players worth keeping the tape as a back up for the future

I have a DVD recorder i can copy to... with a built in video player if that is any help...
