Lovely photos KCI. Looks like a really interesting building - lots of colours in the stonework. That said I think the first one would also look pretty good in B&W.

You're right - I might start experimenting with some black and white pics to see what they look like! :)

You're right - I might start experimenting with some black and white pics to see what they look like! :)

I like old buildings in B&W and your second one with the gravestone is particularly to my liking.
I normally use the "infrared effect" filter in Photoshop Elements as it makes blue skies a touch darker and the scene a bit more contrasty (is that a word?) - it's all down to personal taste though :).

Thanks for the advice, Astroman. I'm not very good at taking pics, but I would like to improve! :)
