Hide and Seek with Roe Deer

These are so cute i had to get the pic.
When i first saw them and got out of the car they were off like whippits.
I saw them again on the return journey so i had another try.
A clear shot was out of the question, but i couldn't resist a shot of the look they were giving me.
There were 4 very young deer.
These are often seen by the staff at Forse House near Latheron.

lovely pic but there not young they will be in cal themselves and due to give birth in a few months, roe have the babies in the summer, they are all adults.

Thanks Buggyracer, i always though Roe Deer were bigger.
I've just checked Roe stats and you are correct.

We usually see deer on our travels, but I'm never quick enough to get the camera out! :roll:
