Now it takes a lot to shock me, but today i went to buy black cotton thread, just your bog standard thread, totally shocked when i was charged £4.75!!! hecks i think the last time i bought some it was 39 pence lol

Thats a shocking price for thread did you challenge the price good job I dont sew much !!! lol

Anne i have a full basket of threads, but no black!!! grrrrrrrr i temp took up my trousers with purple thread, maybe i should have left it at that and started a new trend lol
Anyone else got some shocking prices?

Here you go Highlander 2000m of black thread (http://www.sewessential.co.uk/Category.asp?CategoryID=207&NumPerPage=5&page=1) for £1.79! £2 delivery tho' but still making a saving!

Plus if you order other stuff the delivery will soon seem negligible.
