Northern Lights

Northern Lights were pretty wild even from in the middle of Anchorage last night so I tried to get some pictures, unfortunately no tripod or anyway to keep the camera still... you can see the lights but is there any way to enhance them using photoshop or anything?
I wanted to send a picture or 2 to a friend who "could not see them" when we called her to let her know....
